Flower Pot Cake.

Made this for Nate’s mom for Mother’s Day. It’s funfetti cake made with Door County cherry juice. Then covered in candy clay, kinda like fondant but tastes way better. Made the flowers out of the same stuff. Used chocolate crunchies as the dirt in the pot. It was my first time covering an entire cake and I thought it went fairly well. From what I hear it tasted fantastic too.

Door County Themed Cake.

Funfetti cake made with Door County cherry juice. Fondant replica of my parent’s house in Door County. Painted everything on it after cutting the fondant shape out. Turned out pretty well and was fun to do. Painting on the fondant lets me control the colors a little better.
